Commentary: Congratulations to our clients Jay and Jenn for closing their purchase at 258 Laussat Street in Duboce Triangle. This 2-level, recently updated tow home with 2-car parking, thermador kitchen, private deck and ensuite master bathroom drew hundreds of people during its public open houses. We found out about this listing before it hit the MLS and acted quickly to let our clients know about it. We did this by sending out one of my infamous YouTube walk-through tours and after two more private visits with other family members, a number of conferences with the listing agent (a former bicycling bud) my clients and I submitted an offer the sellers couldn’t refuse. Our clients, who had been looking with another agent before they met us for a couple of years, were skeptical that they’d find something that was modern, smart and pretty in this location. We’re happy we proved them wrong and we ended up scooping up the property at $1.676M with a free rent-back period with no contingencies before it hit the MLS.
As you can see, we won the property on connections, terms, approach and presentation and our clients successfully navigated San Francisco’s ultra-competitive market because of it.
