After meeting on a Sunday at an open house our clients (a sporty New Englander couple who were expecting their first child) we were in contract less than a week later. After talking with them to learn what they were looking for, their budget and the neighborhoods they wanted to be in. Dogpatch was an option they hadn’t considered but the neighborhood’s potential, weather and proximity to 280 were appealing. After talking with them we knew that a new build project — the first phase of two — that was being built by local developers called the Millwheel, would be perfect. But the units that would have matched their criteria were sold out. The sales office were taking a laid-back approach to sales but after hearing what our new clients wanted we went, in person, to see if there was any hope of getting them in.

Of course, a few minutes before walking into the sales office one unit fell out of contract. And that was it. Before calling the stack of agents who were waiting to get their clients in we youtubed the space and sent it over the clients and told them to get there ASAP. Less than 90 minutes later they were there and after confirming that they could also purchase an additional storage unit and that there would be an on-site bike parking room they agreed it was a match. We are in contract just 24 hours after calling them.
