The City’s Next Wave of Major Streetscape Improvements

Notice a plethora of construction work on city streets lately? Well, get ready for more. San Francisco’s streets are about to get prettier with the upcoming implementation of twenty streetscape improvement projects covering nearly every part of town from the Wharf to the Outer Sunset. Thanks in large part to the 2011 Road Repaving and Street Safety Bond, these projects should help make neighborhood commercial corridors and many major thoroughfares greener, safer places to walk and bike.
